In this guide, you’ll learn how to activate your Airtel virtual Mastercard either through the USSD code or using the Airtel Money App.

Steps to Get Airtel Virtual Mastercard via USSD
- Dial *185*7# on your Airtel line.
- Select option 9 – Airtel Money Mastercard.
- Choose 1 – Get a Card and follow the prompts.
- Enter your Airtel Money PIN to confirm.
- You will receive an SMS with your card details and a secure link.
Note: You can save or copy your Mastercard details privately from the SMS.
OR Use the Airtel Money App
- Open the Airtel Money App.
- Select Airtel Money.
- Enter your PIN.
- Tap on 'Mastercard' to request a virtual card.
- Re-enter your PIN for verification.
- Your virtual card will be created instantly in your name.
Important Information
- UGX 1,000 is charged per transaction made with the card.
- The virtual card is valid for 1 year and can be renewed.
